Half-termly Overviews
At Darlinghurst the Curriculum builds knowledge, skills and understanding over time. This is carefully mapped to ensure that children build on what they know and can do. This ensures progression across subjects from Foundation Stage to Year Six. Progression Rivers are in place to show how each subject is developed over time. Each year group teaches the same areas of the curriculum with a focus on skills, subjects that are part of the connected curriculum and those that develop Faith and Well being.
Half Termly overviews are produced to provide information for parents on what their child is learning each half term. This is a brief outline with Medium Term Plans followed by staff.
