Extended Childcare
Breakfast club
Our breakfast club is open to all children who attend the school from Reception through to Year 6. It opens at 7.30am and costs £4.00 per child per morning. Parents must apply for a breakfast club place, and need to complete a booking form and contract which must be returned to the office to be placed on the waiting list before children can attend.
For safeguarding reasons, we must insist that you drop your child off at the door to the hall extension rather than dropping them outside the gates.
A range of breakfast cereals are available along with toast and fruit juice. From time to time we may also have yoghurts, milk and other special items such as croissants.
Children choose to use the netbooks for playing games, doing their homework and staying informed about the world. Four days a week there are additional activities available in the main hall which vary from singing and dancing to more organised games. At least one day a week is dedicated to exercise.
Little Mariners afterschool club
Our Little Mariners afterschool club is open as many times a week as required to children from Reception to Year 6. The club runs from the end of the school day until 6.00pm during term time and aims to provide fun activities including drama, art, cooking, computers and iPads and numerous sporting activities. The club costs £8 per day (reduced to £4 if pupils are collected by 4:15pm).
To apply for a place, parents need to complete a booking form and contract which must be returned to the office to be placed on the waiting list before children can attend.
There is no after school club on the last day of each term.
Collection
It is vital that children are collected as soon as the Little Mariners after school club finishes. If for any reason you will be late, please contact the Little Mariners staff on 07922027578 (only available after 4.00pm).
Cancellations
In the unlikely event of the club being cancelled, the school will inform the named parent/carer by phone or text message as soon as possible to enable you to make alternative arrangements.
