Our curriculum design considers the social and economic backgrounds of our families and children, delivering effective provision for pupils' personal development, behaviour and welfare, supporting moral, social and cultural development. We recognise the importance of communication and language, personal, social and emotional and physical development across the academy. We know that positive relationships and a focus on well being hugely benefits our children.

· Positive learning behaviours and attitudes are modelled and encouraged

· Positive language, politeness and manners are used around our school

· The behaviour system is displayed and followed

· Adults narrate the positive, praising effort and perseverance

· Children and adults promote and celebrate the school values

· Everyone knows: Be happy and help to make our school a caring, welcoming place
