If you aren't confident doing this, for whatever reason, have a look at our Reading at Home guides in the downloads box. Our Junior Governors took part in the community project @mydearnewfriend, supported by the @literacy_trust, writing letters to our local residents and friends at Admiral Court. They wrote heart-warming letters to bring smiles to the faces of the residents, in the hope to prevent loneliness. They felt that this was eeecially important at a time where restrictions are in place for visitors. The letters were received with delight and the children eagerly await their replies. Our ongoing partnership between @darlinghurstacademy and the residents of Admiral Court is a positive experience for all generations. @hallmarkcare #mydearfriend #communityspirit #letstalkloneliness #generations #leighonsea #leighinseaessex #activecitizens #juniorgovernors #juniorleadershipteam
